Teachers come in all forms. Lately, the teachers I’ve been working with have been books: poetry
books, biographies, workbooks, storybooks, spiritual journey books.
These books are here for me when I have a question or want to create a sense of stillness.
When I want a companion, when I want to be pushed out of comfort safely. They are steady and
alert. They are quiet until they are loud. They look better with age. Dog-eared and underlined, tea-stained and oregon coast damp, they are treasures that teach and teach and teach again.
When I dive into these teachers, I find words that I never experienced before even though I’ve
met them several times. There is timeless beauty in these teachers. I breathe differently when
they are close.
So, I want to share my teachers of late, my impactors and influencers-game changers and
solace-makers. Dive into something that creates moments of clarity, non-complexity and joy. All
with a nice cup of tea in tow.
Sweet reading.
