Opening to Abundance

Can we acknowledge what we have? So often, our minds focus on lack, or what we do not have. As a result, we shift into pushing for more, comparing, or falling into a depressive state out of hopelessness for ever having what we want. We suffer because we focus on scarcity.

As humans, we tend to cling, become addicted, collect, and accumulate all in the name of needing it, having to have it.

When we are focused on abundance, however, we do not have a need for the things that create so much suffering in us. As a result, we can let go, open our hands, our hearts, our minds and find freedom and flow. We release greed and grasping in favor of appreciation and gratitude. We trust in plentitude. We exhale.

Today, consider what you grasp tightly. Perhaps it is a belief, a person, or an object. Notice who you become when you think about what you grasp. What do you feel in your body? What emotions arise?

Now consider, who would you be if you could let this go? How would you walk, talk and feel?

Pause and journal about where you have found abundance in your day. What do you feeling in your body? What emotions arise? Happy finding!
